"NUTRTION WORKS PROJECT WINS AWARD”
Andrea Holwegner, Registered Dietitian who worked with the 2008 Alberta Winter Games to develop the Nutrition Works Project to help give Games Athletes, Coaches and Parents information proper sport nutrition, has won the regional award “The Speaking of Food & Healthy Living Award: Excellence in Consumer Communication” from the Dietitians of Canada. Congratulations to Andrea on this achievement and a big thank you to her for all of her work on this great project from all of the staff, directors and chairs who worked on this project with her!
Thank you to all the participants, parents, visitors and Volunteers of the Games. The Games were a fun and successful time and it was because of your enthusiasm.
